Good morning, I am new to SqueezeBox. Yesterday I got connected between the duet controller, the squeezebox and my system, successfully getting music through my stereo. The only problem was my libray only showed roughly 12 of my 350 albums.
Doing some research the only thing I can see is the following: I purchased a new Dell XPS 420 w/ Vista in February. I copied my existing library from my old computer(Older Dell Windows XP) to an external harddrive (seagate) then copied them back over to the new computer. Since doing that action I have burned about 12 new CD's on the new computer. Those 12 CDs are the ones that SqueezeCenter are reading. All 350 albums are in my "Music" folder including the 12 new ones. I have cleared library and rescanned multiple times. I also cleared and rescanned against the External Harddrive (New albums were backed up to it with the rest of my library). Same results. I am wondering if this is a Windows Rights issue. Does anyone have any ideas? I am guessing I could reburn my CDs but would really like to avoid that particular pain.
