Looks like your message has sat here for a long time with no responses. 
I'd recommend contacting support.  But just in case:

- I think you're using the word "burn" when you mean "rip".  Burn means
copying things ONTO a blank CD.  Rip means copying music off a CD.

- We have to know what format your music is in.  If it's WMA then your
concerns about Windows Rights may be valid.  I'd recommend MP3 over WMA
if it's not too late, and using software like EAC instead of Media
Player to handle the ripping.  DRM is a huge pain for media files, and
it's best to steer very clear of it, even if that makes things a little
harder in the short term.
