I also raised a help ticket and have heard nothing back so it's a
surprise that you were unaware.

I guess we've all now learnt that failure to connect to the SN doesn't
mean our config is hosed.

Maybe you need a mechanism to either recognise a high number of
connection failures - surely this stuff must be logged - or allow folks
to hit a button on the site saying it's hosed.
