My SC does not connect to SN too. Last week I had the same problem. On Friday afternoon it worked again thanks to the server fix on SN. Yesterday evening (27.10.2008) it worked but this morning the controller does not connect anymore.
Therefore I checked the state of my receiver and controller on SN website. The receiver had no problem to connect to SN. I could also play music on the receiver by selecting one of my favourite music streams on SN website. The controller somehow was just in disconnected state. Switching the controller off and on again did not help. Resetting the controller did not work last week when SN was not reachable so I did not do anything. One additional thing confuses me really. When I unplug my receiver and switch on my controller the controller should not find any player. But the controller miracly finds a player which I can choose.
