Thank's for the help. I did not change anything but things are back to normal. Since apparantly many people suffered similar problems lately I suspect the problem was related to the SN. Although I have to say I'm not an expert at all and I could be completely wrong, sorry if I am.
I use one squeeze box duet.The receiver box is connected wired. The controller has firmware 48, wireless signal strength 46.Software 7.2 r3191 I never use squeeze center, it's even not anymore installed on my computer. I only use internet radio and internet based music services. I only have one wireless network in my house. I love the squeeze box duet, it's the best for it's price but sometimes there are small 'bugs' 'errors' or 'malfunctions' that can be annoying. Fortunately this only happens very very rare and since their are constant software updates things can only get better !
