frankrenders is referring to the SC7 server software and is probably using SC7 to access Internet Radio. This has no bearing on your issue using SN. ShoutCast does use two different URL schemes between SC and WinAmp, both methods work fine. You can cut & paste URL's from WinAmp or even the direct ShoutCast web site into your Favorites on SN or SC and they will work fine. Not having alpha searching functions via the remote is indeed a pain. It used to work properly but doesn't any more.
