When the Sb is connected to SqueezeCenter all the SqueezeNetwork features are made available because SqueezeCenter acts as the go between. so to control it all, you just need access to the SqueezeCenter interface.
If your player is connected directly to SqueezeNetwork that is when you use the SqueezeNetwork interface. Doing this means you can completely switch off the PC SqueezeCenter is running on.
