I don't know if this will help you, but I have had great difficulty connecting to SN since buying my SB classic a couple of weeks ago. In one room I couldn't connect at all, and in the other room it sometimes would connect, but kept on disconnecting. I checked how many networks were available in the neighborhood, and what channel they were using. I then found by trial and error that by using channel 1 on the router, I can now connect flawlessly and it stays on. I hope its going to work with you.
