I think I have the exact same problem. I just purchased the Duet and
Boom yesterday. I got everything up and working with no problems when
I connect to my newly installed SqueezeCenter. However, I could not
connect anything to SqueezeNetwork. Last night when I went to bed I
shut of my machine running the SqeezeCenter. When I woke up this
morning I noticed that the Boom could connect to SqueezeNetwork just
fine. I also noticed that my Receiver light is now blue (was white
yesterday). The Controller still won't talk with SqueezeNetwork.

When I log on to SqueezeNetwork, I see my players. The Boom has the
correct IP address listed. The Squeezebox Receiver says "Not
Connected".

Questions/issues that may be contributing to my issue:
1) How do I "reboot" the Controller? I have seen many posts, etc.
that say it needs to be rebooted. Do I just yank the battery a la
Blackberry?

2) The Boom gave me the opportunity to assign a static IP address,
which I did. The Receiver and Controller never gave me that
opportunity. Is there a way I can force a static IP even if my router
generally hands out addresses? Obviously I would assign an address
outside the DHCP range.

3) How do I figure out the PIN on the Receiver? The Boom displayed it
during setup....not sure where I missed it in the Receiver setup
process.

Thanks...my wife and I are loving the SB world so far. Technology has
come a long way since the VCR Rabbit I had as a kid in the 80s!
