SN (nor anything else beyond your router) does not see nor care what encryption method or even connection method (WiFi, wired) you are using. Your router encrypts and unencrypts data between your router and your networked devices, it does not send that encryption out over the internet. You may well have had some WEP issue on your network preventing your devices from seeing the internet, but that is an internal issue only limited to your network. The other steps you took fixed your SN connection issue, not encryption method. :) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62887 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
