What router is it Olav? You do get some really horrible cheap things, that to be honest, are barely able to handle regular web browsing, yet alone music streaming between devices.
It might also be that adding the Duet to the network has shown up the fact it is failing. I had a Netgear router that for years worked perfectly. Then it would only really work for normal email and web browsing.
