I realize that you just bought another router but for future referace: The WGR614 has to be portforwarded to connect to Squeezenetwork. Set your player to a staticIP address and then TCP/UDP portforward ports 8000 & 3864 to that static IP. After that it should work fine; I run into this problem all the time with Netgear routers.
