I'm glad it's sorted for you Ron :)

SBS and mysb.com identify the player by its MAC address, which doesn't
change and is unique, so matching a player that has been re-set to
existing setting is no problem. And as you said, the settings are in
SBS, not the player. I actually don't think there is any way for the
server to now a player has even been factory reset, other than IR
signals there is very little information going back to the server from
the player, it's all one way traffic.
