At least here in the US, that's because the GeoIP coding (the database
that converts your IP into a local area) often sucks.  (Depending on who
I believe, I live almost anywhere and everywhere in Oregon...  My
parents, who last I knew lived in the Bay Area seem to periodically move
500 miles to the south according to Google Analytics...)

GEOIP is at best a guess.... not always accurate.  Or even close (since
my Parents keep mysteriously moving around...)

You can get around it by setting up and configuring a Radio Time
account at MySB.  This will override any guesswork about where you live.
You can even have fun and lie about where you live if you want "home
town" radio instead of "where I just happen to be living at this stage
of my life".

Not really a MySB issue: even Google Analytics gets it wrong.  When it
works, it's neat, when it doesn't it... confusing.
