At least here in the US, that's because the GeoIP coding (the database that converts your IP into a local area) often sucks. (Depending on who I believe, I live almost anywhere and everywhere in Oregon... My parents, who last I knew lived in the Bay Area seem to periodically move 500 miles to the south according to Google Analytics...) GEOIP is at best a guess.... not always accurate. Or even close (since my Parents keep mysteriously moving around...) You can get around it by setting up and configuring a Radio Time account at MySB. This will override any guesswork about where you live. You can even have fun and lie about where you live if you want "home town" radio instead of "where I just happen to be living at this stage of my life". Not really a MySB issue: even Google Analytics gets it wrong. When it works, it's neat, when it doesn't it... confusing. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73011 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
