If they aren't already doing it I'd recommend that Logitech or whomever
manages the actual service use some for of monitoring like Gomez:

There are several services out there that can monitor your applications
from various parts of the world and report uptime along with alerts
etc.

With this type of service you can also aggregate the data and display
it for your customers so that when they are having problems they can
check the status page to help them understand if the issue is a service
issue or an issue with their isp or customer equipment.
