If they aren't already doing it I'd recommend that Logitech or whomever manages the actual service use some for of monitoring like Gomez:
http://www.gomez.com/products-solutions/products/web-performance-management/real-user-passive-monitoring/ There are several services out there that can monitor your applications from various parts of the world and report uptime along with alerts etc. With this type of service you can also aggregate the data and display it for your customers so that when they are having problems they can check the status page to help them understand if the issue is a service issue or an issue with their isp or customer equipment. -- pounce ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pounce's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12645 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77839 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
