Might help, can't hurt. Also check to see what channel your WIFI is on as compared to all your neighbor's channels. Use netstumber or vistumbler to see nearby wifi networks and use a channel far away from the nearby networks. Also be sure that your WIFI is set to BROADCAST the SSID.
