Hi! I wonder if some kind and patient soul can throw some light on the darkness here? Where to begin? OK I can get this down to one general and one specific question. I own a Logitech Duet and so that's the background here. First the general question:
1. What is the point of mysqueezebox.com? It seems to me that all necessary configuration can be carried out either through the remote handset or through the (local) web server interface. I see nothing additional offered by mysqueezebox.com. So what is the point? 2. My specific question. Mysqueezebox.com does 'appear' to offer one interesting option - in the top right corner of the screen it opens a 'Remote Control' panel. Now if it worked it would be fun to e.g. let a friend control my player from their house, but it doesn't work. The 'Current Player' drop down in the pop-up window is always empty. So I go to check the Tab marked 'Players' and there is my player, and all it's details, such as MAC address, the name I chose for it, it's firmware revision and everything, but it's status always reads "Status: Not Connected", which I imagine is the source of the problem. Does anyone understand this issue and know how to solve it? Thank you in advance!
