Used the latest version of LMS on my old XP laptop and everything ran fine but as the laptop was getting very old the inevitable happened and it died. Have replaced it with a new Toshiba Laptop which is loaded with Windows 8 software (which I hate as it is designed for a touch screen which my lap top does not have but that is another issue).
While the LMS says it is running it connection to port 9090 and 3483 both say failed and it is not possible to connect to the advanced settings on line. I have tried deleting and then reloading the software which will work but only while the lap top is one after loading once it has restarted or been tunred off the same issue happens again . Does anyone have any suggestions why this is not working ?
