Dear All, I am having problem with my squid box since i updated my kernel to "2.4.20-19.8smp" , actually it is running as a squid cache on my network and serving 360 users at maximum , the specs are
80 Gb scsi storage dual intel PIII 1 GB ram but it behaves abnormally some times it tart generating traffic on the network inward (download) it seems like squid box is downloading data but there are no client requests for that, it really choked up the whole network and traffic just stopped for four hours ,and i am really astonished that no other machine or users were generating traffic rather there were only 50 users connected, it was just this linux box :(.is there some one who also expirienced the same ?? hope to have immediate response from you.
