Hi Henrik,

I have added OS kernel support for WCCPv2. When I checked wccp status on
router, it shows that router identifies the cache engine's presence over
there.

But still ......problem....

When squid service is started cache.log file generates.
Below is the cache.log generated by squid.

2003/11/06 14:34:23| Ready to serve requests.
2003/11/06 14:35:23| Incoming WCCP v2 I_SEE_YOU length 176.
2003/11/06 14:35:23| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU received id = 50862.
2003/11/06 14:35:23| Incoming WCCP2_I_SEE_YOU member change = 1 tmp=66.

No data logs in access.log & store.log files.
Further guidance is required..

Regards,

Milind

Squid FAQ 17.11 WCCP - Web Cache Coordination Protocol
<url:http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-17.html#ss17.11>
Describes WCCPv1 setup, but most are the same except for wich patch and
kernel driver to use, and some minor differences in IOS settings.

Squid WCCP Version 2.0 Support project
<url:http://devel.squid-cache.org/projects.html#visolve_wccpv2>
Provides WCCPv1 like functionality using WCCPv2 which broadens the IOS
compability with newer IOS releases. Installation instruction can be
found from the authors web site (linked).

Regards
Henrik
