Hi,

I have Squid. It has some cache objects. But Squid doesn't seem to use this cache.

#has cache: - on startup I see the number of cache objects

#doesnt use cache: I want to cache the result of JSP (java server pages). In the logs
of Tomcat
(java application server) I can see how everytime the Code is executed. ... - not the
cache
being taken.

Now my config-File:
++++++++++++++
http_port 8441
acl manager proto cache_object
acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255
acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0

http_access allow manager localhost
http_access deny manager all
http_access allow all

icp_access allow all

cache_mem 20 MB
#cache_dir ufs /var/cache/squid 10016 256

httpd_accel_host 192.168.192.99
httpd_accel_port 8440
httpd_accel_single_host on
httpd_accel_with_proxy on

refresh_pattern -i http: 50 20% 4320 override-expire
refresh_pattern -i . 50 20% 4320 override-expire
++++++++++++++++++

What can I do to use the cache? I hoped that especially the last 2 lines would ensure
that only
the Cache is being taken.

Regards

Walter
