Hi,
Ive realized this by creating another blacklist (whitelist) with the url or domain and the let it pass. It looks like this:

 yoursource {
  pass bl_special !bl_hacking !bl_warez !bl_porn !bl_downloads any
  redirect 302:http://whateveryourredirectoris.htm
 }
where bl_special contains the url or domain you want to allow "*.exe" and bl_downloads is the one you block with. Its important that bl_special is the first in your list, because squidguard works by checking one list after another and when there is a hit ignoring the rest.

Hope this will help you,
Frank

PS: Creating new blacklists and activating them is easier when using webmin (www.webmin.com) and the squidguard-plugin for webmin (http://www.niemueller.de/webmin/modules/squidguard/)!

Subject: Unblocking .exe's

I have setup a extention db to block the kiddies from downloading .exe's and such which works great, except now I need to let one paticular .exe come thru that connects us to our city library. Can you tell me how to do this?
