Hi

I have a rewrite rule that used to work in the squidguard.conf file.

However it seems to have stopped working and I don’t know why.

It’s possible someone has made changes that have caused it to stop working not like most things no one is admitting to anything.

The rewrite rule is supposed to rewrite google URLs to turn on the safe search function.

The bottom of the squidguard config is here:

###################

rew strictgoogle {

s@(.*.google..*)(.safe.off)@images?&safe=strict&@ir

s@(.*.google..*)(/images?q=)@images?&safe=strict&[EMAIL PROTECTED]

s@(.*.google..*)(/search?q=)@search?&safe=strict&[EMAIL PROTECTED]

s@(.*.google..*)(/images?hl=)@images?&safe=strict&[EMAIL PROTECTED]

s@(.*.google..*)(/search?hl=)@search?&safe=strict&[EMAIL PROTECTED]

}

acl {

        nofilter {

                pass    any

        }

        default {

                pass whitelist !ads !adult !aggressive !audio-video !porn !beerliquorinfo !beerliquorsale !dangerous_material !dating !dialers !drugs !gambling !hacking !redirector !spyware !strong_redirector !violence !warez !weapons !virusinfected all

                rewrite strictgoogle

        }

}

#########################

Is there way of seeing via the logs what any rewrite rules are doing as currently the logs show no rewrites going on.

Or does anyone know how I can get this rewrite rule working again?

Thanks in advance.

Tony
