I fought to make it work for a month, then left it as it was alone for a week... and it started blocking. Have no idea what happened. it also seems to not accept changes in databases and .conf file: /usr/local/bin/squidGuard -c /etc/squidGuard.conf hangs console until ctrl+c, but the log says "ready for requests", no emergency mode.Are you doing a "squid -k reconfigure" after changes to db files ? Maybe he started to work after a month because squid was restarted ?
