It works! I can't beleive it. I was able to add an additional site to the Blacklist and then update the list and presto changeooo! it now blocks the site that I added.
Now how can I replace banner adds with my own graphic? Where in the SquidGuard.conf file to I put the statement? Is it a redirect statement? Can Squidguard be used to block web bugs, spyware and adware? If so how? If is blocking the "bad" sites, but I think I am still seeing ads when I visit CNET, BUY.COM, etc.... Thanks in advance, John
