This is /way/ off topic.

DNS uses a seperate entry (or entries) for mail, called Mail eXchanger
records, denoted by MX.

What you need to do is contact your hosting company and have them set up
an MX that points your domain at your mailserver.  It would also be a good
idea to bug them to set up a backup MX (lower priority) that points at one
of their mailservers to spool mail whenever your server is down.
