Hi,

I've just installed SquirrelMail 1.4.1 on my computer.
I have some questions about the program, that I didn't found if the
FAQ's.

I haven't configured any databases for SquirrelMail, althought the
address book works and I can also create folders as well. My question
is where are these data's are stored and why is it better to use
databases insted?

My mail server is running IMAP-UW which is "Secure" by default. So you
can only establish secure connections only via IMAP. I set the default
port and other settings (TLS, UW) in conf.pl and it works. Thats of
course not a problem, but I don't know HOW, becuase my web server is
not secure, (only http) and the IMAPs port (993) is blocked by a firewall.
How could this be? How could squirrel mail connect like a secure TLS
tunnel althought it doen't exist.

Thanks,
