First of all, I configured squirrelmail with apache on RedHat 9.0
it runs ( when contacting the site --> I get the login screen )

when trying to login ( to IMAP of an exchange server )
I do : login : <domain_name>/<last_sname>/<firstname.lastname>
this should work fine

but when I enter the pass I get the error that apache does not have write access on
the "../default_pref"
I checked the file, and apache has Write access to that file

So I rebooted the server ( you'll never know )

then I have the problem that apache is not auto starting
so I used " apachectl start "

apache server is now started, and I can access the page
when trying to enter the webmail page, I don't see it ....

because of service not running ( I think )

so .....

how to start automatically apache
how to start automatically squirrelmail
how to set write access to default_pl for apache correctly ?

also .... little bit off-topic

we have in our organisation 7 Exchange servers.
so mailboxes are spread all over the exchange servers.
does squirrelmail now witch server to take when I login with a user who's mailbox
located on the server in Thailand ?
although I have configured to use the exchange server in Belgium ?

thx in advance
