I don't think this is the problem. For testing issues I left only the problematic e-mail in the user mailbox, and the problem remains.
I made some tests to check how squirrelmail deals with great number os messages , I sent about 10.000 messages to a mailbox and SM handle them just fine. Thanks for answering.
