there is no such plugin.

don't write emails in Chinese with SquirrelMail 1.4.0. there is a bug in
headers. There is 5% posibility of message corruption, if you use 8bit
symbols. Use 1.4.1 or 1.4.2.

Try changing language to Vietamese. You should be able to write in Chinese
and Spanish there.

Replies to emails with different charsets don't work with squirrelmail.
Known bug. Working on that in 1.5.0cvs. Can't be fixed without changes in
every used translation.
