I just tried 777 on my attachments directory, and I'm
still having the problem.  /tmp is also 777.

Uploading in php works in other programs (I use
gallery on part of my website -
gallery.sourceforge.net), so I suspect that I haven't
made a mistake in the php settings.

error_reporting in php.ini is set to E_ALL &
~E_NOTICE.

Any other suggestions?  Thanks!
