i have a problem with some PDFs attached to a message when they're viewed throu squirrelmail.
I saw a previous problem related with this one, that affected only to IE, but this one also happens with Netscape:
when you download or view the attach, some characters (but only a few of them) are added/deleted from the original attach (or the one i obtain via POP, which is correct), making the PDF impossible to recognize by the Acrobat viewer.
The characters added are points '.', and when deleted, they're jump characters... and in fact, the original 0xa+0xd is converted to only 0xa ...
It all points to a strange mangling made by apache or php due to some incorrect content-type or something like that... but the clients always receives a correct "Content-Type: application/pdf"
Moreover: I haven't noticed any other problem with any other type of binary or text attachment.
i am totally estranged... my organization sends these pdfs, and clients are unable to view them with squirrel... ( ???? )
any help / tip / hint or whatever is wellcome thanx
