Could you try the latest cvs snapshot available from
http://www.squirrelmail.org/download.php

It's the 1.4.3 CVS snapshot.

Yesterday I fixed a problem related to attachment download / viewing for
attachments encoded in base64 and a linelength <> 76 characters. Maybe
it's related to your problem.

Please report if this fixes your problem.
If it doesn't fix your problem, could you attach a message with the
problem as message/rfc822 attachment and send it to me personally so I can
check if it's a SquirrelMail problem.
