show layout of your locale/ and locale/nl_NL/LC_MESSAGES/ directories. (ls -lR locale) You have safe_mode=off or default safe_mode value? Can you check https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=936641&group_id=311&atid=300311 patches? If Patch 936641 does not work: open functions/i18n.php, find line $languages['nl_NL']['LOCALE'] and disable it by putting // in front of it or try to reproduce it on 1.4.2. Or try compiling only one nl_NL system locale (with iso-8859-1 charset). P.S. There is no need to cc to my email.
