Hi,

We have SM 1.4.0 on RedHAt FC1 Linex. It is running well. I have a
question about files in folder /tmp. That folder shows a lot of files
that seem to stay "forever", e.g.

-r-------- 1 apache apache 41587 Jun 8 11:24 phpa_2304_51244
-r-------- 1 apache apache 10366 Sep 12 2003 phpa_2308_160995
-r-------- 1 apache apache 93788 Sep 13 2003 phpa_2308_161002
-r-------- 1 apache apache 2811 Jun 2 14:54 phpa_2308_161006
-r-------- 1 apache apache 6084 Jul 12 2003 phpa_2308_176783
-r-------- 1 apache apache 26691 Jul 19 2003 phpa_2308_176798
-r-------- 1 apache apache 12927 Oct 12 2003 phpa_2308_176805
-r-------- 1 apache apache 79214 Oct 12 2003 phpa_2308_176806
-r-------- 1 apache apache 48047 Dec 31 2002 phpa_2308_18823
-r-------- 1 apache apache 2137 Jun 6 2003 phpa_2308_176828
-r-------- 1 apache apache 1928 Apr 27 2003 phpa_2308_177020
-r-------- 1 apache apache 62699 Mar 11 2003 phpa_2308_18682
-r-------- 1 apache apache 10607 Mar 2 2003 phpa_2308_18688
.....

Some of them have timestamp of 2002! Actually, I just installed this new
fc1 system and SM last month. Are these files created and used by SM?
Should they be deleted automatically after some time of period? If not,
should I remove them manually? If I should, then what is a good time to
remove them? once a day, once a week, or? I don't want to affect any
user if them are used by some user's SM.

Thanks a lot!

Hongwei Li
