I'm running:
WebStar 5.3.2 under Panther (Mac OS 10.3.4) EIMS (Eudora Mail Server) for Mac OS X SquirrelMail 1.43a
The SquirrelMail Login page is correctly served by WebStar... but it consistently returns NO KNOWN USER/WRONG PASSWORD.
I've checked and double-checked user names & passwords. Re-entered them. Still no luck.
Accounts are setup in EIMS with the following: + Login Enabled + IMAP Login Enabled (I've tried both enabled and disabled) + Account Enabled + Secure Authentication Required
EIMS works great with Apple Mail (using POP3). I tried setting up a couple of test accounts as IMAP, but the server repeatedly rejected the passwords.
Stumped in New Orleans....
