That doesn't seem to work for me.

http://www.3e.org/favicon.ico exists, but going to
http://www.3e.org/mail/ doesn't pick it up in any of the browsers I've
tried, even if I add that to bookmarks. The only way I seem to be able
to get anything to pick it up is if I add an explicit link to it in
the doc head...
