1. this subject line is not produced by pt_BR translation. It is produced in translation that uses utf-8 charset. pt_BR uses iso-8859-1 charset and creates quoted-printable headers with "=?iso-8859-1?Q?" 2. this subject line is correct. it is displayed correctly in squirrelmail 1.4.2 and 1.5.1cvs. I am pretty sure that it works the same in any other php version because encodeHeader function uses only some basic php functions. 3. courier-imap does not care about that header. Only search functions might read it. 3. I can't reproduce your problem in 1.5.1cvs and 1.4.2. courier-imap 3.0.8 and 1.4.3 If your email program can't read that header, you should not blame squirrelmail about it. If your email program is squirrelmail and squirrelmail can't read that header, you should provide information about any changes that you have made in squirrelmail. If you are using any plugin that messes with compose window - you should mention them. -- Tomas ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IT Product Guide on ITManagersJournal Use IT products in your business?
