Without knowing what version of SM you're using, it could be difficult to
say what version might be affected.  But I can add users with email
addresses containing a -.  For example:

  [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Or is that not what you mean?

As Paul mentioned, there were some date updates recently added to the CVS
branch, so you might want to start there, and post your findings.
