When I did a telnet log on to IMAP, the username and password were in plain text. Squirrelmail is setup for plain text logon. I forced an authentification failure (bad user name and a bad password, same error) in Pegasus and got the "error 86" exactly like I am getting with Squirrelmail. Wrong user name password combination, don't think so because I am using the same credntials as I use for Pegasus and the telnet session. I know I am not the worlds best typist so I did try multiple times. I am thinking that it is something to do with the web server more than a problem with Squirrelmail or the IMAP server. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
