If you run SquirrelMail on a Linux box, you can use the program Fetchmail to
collect mail from other accounts feed it to your IMAP server.
Otherwise, have a look at the Mail Fetch plugin (
http://www.squirrelmail.org/plugin_view.php?id=17), which allows users to
manually retrieve messages from POP3 mail accounts into their
SquirrelMail-managed IMAP account. I run SquirrelMail on a personal Windows
XP machine and use this plugin to periodically collect mail sent to my ISP.
As far as I know, there is no way to make the plugin download mail
automatically, unfortunately--it requires a user to click the "Fetch Mail"
button in SquirrelMail to initiate the transfer.
