I think you need to help yourself first.

Understand your old server: where does it store the encrypted passwords?
Read them out.

Ok, on this server each user has a sqwebmail pass file, inside the file the password is encryted...the pass file exists on the Maildir directory of each user...

Understand your new server: which authentication mechanism have you chosen
to use? Where does it store its passwords?
The new server will be installed with qmail and vpopmail, and vpopmail will be configured with mysql support (enable-auth-module=mysql)

Then you import the passwords.

You say you're using authmysql on the new server. Then the encrypted
passwords go in whichever column you decided to use for encrypted passwords
in authmysqlrc:

MYSQL_CRYPT_PWFIELD crypt

Brian.

on mysql table there are a colum called pw_password where is the password encryted...if I understand you, I need import the crypted password on this colum...it's correct??? and I know if this is the case, this question is out of the mailing list, but how can I do it?? how can import from encrypted file to a crypted column on a mysql table?

Thanks for your help.........................
