Disaster recovery experience is desired. · Thorough understanding and hands on experience managing multiple Databases either on a standalone and cluster RDBMS systems. · Thorough understanding of SQL and hands on experience using database backup/recovery utilities · Thorough understanding and hands on experience SAN technology · Hands on experience tuning database objects, SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL or equivalent · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Self-Motivator and works with limited supervision · Must be able to deliver quality and accurate work, provide results, meeting or exceed deadlines, communicate with stakeholders · Must have worked in a 24x7 distributed environment. · Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL Server RDBMS or equivalent · Experience with Windows Server Operating System · Experience with VERITAS NetBackup running in an Windows/SQL Server environment.
