i notice that this mailing list is intended for developers and improvers of
the client,
and i'm afraid i am only seeking information on where to download a
suitable client in the first instance.
i have downloaded 'bettertelnet' twice, from two different sites, mainly
because i use an old mac, and one of the ISPs that i have a shell account
with will not allow remote login without ssh....
but both versions will not work, giving the message that they are 'export
versions' (the last V.2.0, beta) and cannot complete the login. it seems
that ssh is not actually configurable in these versions.
my main query was to find out where oh where can i get an ssh client for
the mac that WILL work.
any suggestions?
i did not like to ask such a question onlist in case it is way off topic,
before asking the listowner first.
