Well, I installed RH 6.0 to see for myself, and found the system utmp.h
and utmpx.h files to be the culprit. haven't hacked out a solution yet,
but the files have changed between 5.2 and 6.0 (dumb me, didn't save the
5.2 headers to compare the difference). login.c uses these header files to
provide the structs for the error messages given, and some of the struct's
components are missing.
If anyone wants to take a look and patch the problem that would be great.
RedHat 6.0 is scheduled to ship any day now and having a fix for ssh would
be excellent ;-)
