The xtmp calls where changed (to conform to some newer standard) in GNU libc
2.1.
try compiling without xtmp support, cant seem to remember if there was a
configure flag for it, or
if I had to change the source manually; but you'll figure it out :)
(tested on debian potato with glibc 2.1)
