Just to confirm this 'lingering connect' behaviour.
I tried with either password or Key authentication with
Solaris 2.6 SSH 2.0.13 sshd configured with libwrap
PC running 2.0.12 Client purchased from F-Secure.
If I connect using normal password the exit is clean, if I use a Key
exchange then the session hangs after logout - eventually times out or
I can disconnect via the menu option. The sshd server logs
sshd[4168]: FATAL ERROR: ssh_pty_get_exit_status called before the
child has exited.
This was the same with the 2.0.12 v2 server as well on Solaris 2.6.
