When you compiled it, did you use gcc/egcs, or the SGI C compiler?  There
are some alignment problems when using gcc/egcs and the system inet_ntoa()
(in libc.so), as it takes a structure, rather than a pointer, and that
structure gets aligned improperly by gcc/egcs.
