Excuse me if I missed something that was said earlier but this doesn't
sound as if you are tunneling the X connection at all?! The DISPLAY on the
(ssh) server host is set by the sshd to e.g. "yourserverhost:10.0". If you
set the display to something else the X protocol will travel unenrypted
(at least not tunneled through ssh). Especially if you set the DISPLAY to
"yourclienthost:0.0" the X connection will go directly (unencrypted) to
your client host (running the X server).
