Does ssh 2.x.x support password expiration? I've got 2.1.0 running on
a RedHat 6.2 machine, and ssh seems to choke on expired passwords.

running ssh -v and connecting to an account whose password is expired,
I receive the following error messages:

warning: Authentication failed.
debug: Ssh2/ssh2.c:76/client_disconnect: locally_generated = TRUE
Disconnected; protocol error (Unexpected response packet).

v 1.2.27 seems to handle this situation correctly and prompt the user
to choose a new password, but v 2.x.x doesn't. Am I missing something
in configuration?

If it's not in there, can anybody give an estimate on when it might be
included?
